This latest collection of Amish novellas from Fuller ("Amish Letters" series) revolves around family issues. In "Building Trust," Grace Miller and Joel King want to marry, but she is confused by her father's anger toward Joel and his refusal to permit them to wed. In "A Heart Full of Love," Ellie's overprotective mother cannot stop interfering since Ellie lost her sight. With the birth of her twins, Ellie is forced to confront her mother about her behavior. Emily Shwartz, the protagonist of "Surprised by Love," tricks her matchmaking parents into thinking she is involved with Reuban Coblentz, who plays along. Will this fake arrangement turn into the real thing? Finally, in "A Gift for Anne Marie," Mamm decides to remarry and move to another state, thwarting her daughter Anne Marie's plans to marry Nathaniel. Two of the stories ("A Heart Full of Love" and "A Gift for Anne Marie") were previously published in An Amish Cradle and An Amish Second Christmas, respectively. VERDICT Enthusiasts of Fuller's sweet Amish romances will savor this new anthology.
