Sorcerers on both sides are leading the battles with the use of Decimates, natural substances that enhance their power. Prince Bifalt must go on a quest to find the book of the seventh Decimate to save his father's land. In his narration, Brick creates a voice for each of the characters that fits perfectly. His inspired portrayal of Bifalt, in particular, keeps the listener wanting to know more. He not only reflects every fault of the prince but also his concern for helping his land and his father.
